well done guys...i was watching results earlier and they stopped after group games. i thought it was to be finished tomorrow or i would have come up to watch. brilliant achievement not losing a match all day. wee benny seems to be a good luck talisman with team events...maybe time to get him back in our counties lol well done again and unlucky to billy's team. |

Well done guys great result,it would have been great to have played yous in final, but it wasn't to be.. would like to add that what happened between our team and maxi's was unfortunate and put a little damper on what was a great day.

Well done guys, you were always the team to beat Another great result for the area, let's keep it going.
As for the "unfortunate incident". If the tournament organiser had the courage of his convictions, it would have been an all Kilsyth final

Well done to my team Danny, Benny, Ross and Shug, everyone was different class and I knew from the start no one would get near us all day and the result in the final showed that we deserved it, also as Ross said the team spirit was awesome all day and hope it stays that way from the counties, MOAN THE KILSYTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aye, so can you. Well seen you kept your mouth shut at the time cos you knew fine well that your team was in the wrong. The only reason the organiser didn't back us up having already called it as a foul was because if he had ruled against Maxi's team, he may have lost future revenue.

housty i never got involved because i wasn't sure of the rules and i wasn't playing so it was nothing to do with me simples m8y the problem was too many people got involved that didn't know the rules i'm sure in hindsight that you would agree now lets not fall out over a game of pool that would be very chidish

I would like too add that i got involved due to knowing the rules that the airdrie league use. pure and simple there is no talking or coaching of any kind allowed, during you and your neighbours visit after you or he has taken his shot. As Maxi is a team mate i would like to think he would know this.As i have said before some people will try to win, no matter what rules have to be bent or re written even half way through a tourney..
saying that had a great day and if i have got this wrong then i will apologize to everyone involved in person

Ok sarry didn't know that, I just thought it was the same rules that we play on a thurday in airdrie. I think thats why it got a bit heated,I think what added fuel to the fire was that gary agreed that it was a foul but he ho its all done now,the way we played all day it was a miracle we got to the quarters..
